Griffin (Arnold) S.
Griffin successfully participated in the Santa Cruz County Science and Engineering Fair with a rigorous science project. He built upon his project last year, where he tested the best launching angle for paper airplanes. This year, he built a new launcher with bigger motors and launching wheels and tested which plane designs flew farther and would stay in the air the longest. He approached his project like a true scientist, took it very seriously, and tested many variables, including size, weight, rudders, nose fold, and wing-area-to-weight-ratio. He learned a great deal and his project was featured in a news story about the fair. https://www.santacruzsentinel.com/2019/03/02/students-don-science-hats-for-science-and-engineering-fair/
